As a Senior Infrastructure Reliability Engineer at AWS, you will focus on driving reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure high standards of safety and security while optimizing datacenter availability. The role requires a proactive approach to root cause analysis and continuous improvement in product reliability. You will also engage with internal and external partners to enhance product specifications and risk management strategies.

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree in Reliability Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of work experience in reliability risk identification and assessment from component to system level
• Experience with proactive and effective reliability approaches throughout product design, manufacture and deployment stages

• Drive reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and implement continuous improvements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive product specification and risk management
• Evaluate product design quality and reliability risks using analytical and statistical techniques
• Develop datacenter system level reliability models and conduct risk analysis for configuration optimization
• Monitor product performance in the field and drive root cause analysis of critical failures
• Lead vendor auditing and quarterly review processes to enhance datacenter availability
