Job description

Join Apple's Identity Management Services (IdMS) team as a Software Engineer, where you will be part of a high-impact engineering group responsible for core systems that power Apple Account identity across various platforms. This role involves developing and deploying large-scale, high-demand systems while collaborating with talented engineers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to new product features and enhancing existing functionality. If you are passionate about quality assurance and innovative software solutions, this is the opportunity for you.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Software Development and/or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong programming and software design skills, preferably in Swift and/or Python.
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with test methodologies ranging from functional unit tests to integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Experience building automated UI and non-UI tests for user-facing applications or system frameworks.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including business stakeholders, engineering peers, QA teams, product managers, and human interface designers.
  • Contribute to developing new product features and enhancing existing functionality.
  • Drive performance and code quality improvements.
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle from architecture and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Proactively triage, investigate, and debug difficult technical and UX problems.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
