Job description
This full-time hardware engineer position at Amazon involves working in an office environment, collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team to design and optimize innovative consumer products. The role includes engaging in projects from concept through production, gaining exposure to the complete design lifecycle. Candidates will support engineering builds and develop automated test tools while working closely with both internal teams and external partners. The position is available across various locations in the United States.
Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of material and manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills.
- Experience in 3D CAD.
- Experience in analog and digital skills with embedded systems.
- Experience in embedded systems projects.
- Are enrolled in or have completed an academic program that is physically located in the United States.
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform schematic design.
- Validate hardware and debug issues.
- Develop automated test tools using labview and HPVEE.
- Travel to support engineering builds.
