Job description

The Software Engineer Senior - Service Now role is focused on delivering high-quality software solutions within the Corporate organization in Indianapolis, IN. The team specializes in Systems and Information Technology, aiming to enhance technical capabilities and drive innovation. The position emphasizes the design and development of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions, including AI-driven automation and complex system integrations. The engineer will also ensure architectural integrity and promote best practices in development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 6–10+ years of enterprise application development experience, including 4–6+ years of advanced ServiceNow development.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional automation solutions in large-scale, Agile enterprise environments.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD) are required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across HR, Legal, and Finance.
  • Design scalable, upgrade-safe frameworks and reusable components that drive automation and performance optimization.
  • Develop advanced reporting, dashboards, and analytics to measure automation impact and performance metrics.
  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions such as Now Assist and intelligent case classification.
  • Own end-to-end technical delivery from solution design through deployment and production support.
  • Drive hands-on development by translating functional requirements into ServiceNow technical designs.
  • Architect and implement complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise middleware.
  • Drive platform best practices including code quality and DevOps alignment.
  • Provide ServiceNow technical leadership and mentor developers within the team.
  • Partner with Product and Architecture teams to translate business transformation initiatives into technical solutions.
