The Senior Software Engineer role within the Support Experience organization at Microsoft focuses on designing and shipping core components of the Agentic support platform. The engineer will take ownership of features from prototype to production, ensuring reliability and compliance. • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Build agentic workflows using frameworks like Azure AI foundry or Microsoft Copilot studio.
• Own the run-state reliability of AI-driven support workflows, including incident response and live-site health.
• Adapt AI workflows to changing support business policies and operational processes.
• Drive customer trust and satisfaction by ensuring AI agents correctly understand intent.
• Ensure security, privacy, and responsible AI compliance.
• Define and implement observability, monitoring, and intervention mechanisms for AI agents.
• Partner across engineering, support business, compliance, and platform teams.
• Contribute to the vision and delivery of a platform for citizen developers to build AI agents.
