The Sr. Electrical Engineer will work within the Advanced Manufacturing group at Jacobs, focusing on the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This role offers flexibility in location across the U.S. and emphasizes collaboration within a multi-discipline team. The engineer will contribute to projects that enhance power distribution systems and ensure the successful delivery of design packages. The position also involves direct interaction with clients and contractors to support construction efforts.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Provide design work for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems.
• Contribute to team technical collaboration and perform quality reviews of design packages.
• Assist directly with other portions of the design process and interact with clients, owners, and contractors.
• Establish design requirements and produce construction documents in a collaborative environment.
• Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
