• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and three years of experience in the same role.
• Demonstrated expertise in Object-Oriented application design and analysis.
• Experience in architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Proficiency in developing Web Services (SOAP or REST) APIs and executing batch applications.

• Participate in architecture design teams.
• Define and implement application level architecture.
• Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review test plans.
• Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.

• Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
• Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates.
• Advise senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
• Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
