Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and three years of experience in the same role.
- Demonstrated expertise in Object-Oriented application design and analysis.
- Experience in architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Proficiency in developing Web Services (SOAP or REST) APIs and executing batch applications.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams.
- Define and implement application level architecture.
- Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
- Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review test plans.
- Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
- Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
- Meet project goals on-time and on-budget.
- Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
- Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
- Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
- Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
