This position involves developing modern and responsive single-page web applications using the Typescript stack, particularly Angular. The role focuses on integrating REST APIs and building GraphQL APIs while ensuring code quality through automated testing. The candidate will participate in architecture design, mentor junior team members, and provide technology solutions to various project challenges. The position requires collaboration with business units to translate divisional initiatives into effective software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, or a Master’s degree and three years of experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing software solutions using Angular, GraphQL, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience with State Management patterns and frameworks using NgRx/RxJS.
- Proficiency in orchestrating Node.js layers and deployment using KAD, AWS S3, and ECS.
- Experience in developing and integrating Java Web services using Dropwizard, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams.
- Define and implement application-level architecture.
- Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
- Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review and validate test plans.
- Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
- Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
- Meet project goals on-time and on-budget.
- Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
- Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.
- Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
