This position involves leading and managing projects and teams to develop Cloud-based brokerage applications in an Agile environment. The role requires expertise in regulatory reporting and the implementation of technology initiatives. The candidate will work closely with both internal and external technical resources to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a remote position open to applicants across the United States.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and six years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering Development.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and four years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in gathering and interpreting business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Experience developing and maintaining regulatory applications to adhere to SEC and FINRA requirements.
- Proficiency in developing KDB based applications and maintaining KDB databases.
Responsibilities
- Oversee changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies.
- Translate and incorporate business vision and strategy into architectural recommendations.
- Participate in high-level architecture design teams.
- Consult on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members on application processes and coding best practices.
- Research and recommend new technologies to improve operations.
- Provide leadership and technical supervision to multiple teams on complex projects.
