Job description

This position involves leading the development of enterprise-quality platforms using technologies such as Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle SQL. The role requires setting standards for practices across the team, including unit testing and DevOps. The candidate will research and recommend new technologies to support the business unit's strategic direction. Additionally, the role includes providing leadership and technical supervision across multiple teams on complex projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and six years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and four years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing Cloud infrastructure components using AWS.
  • Experience in building architecture design using tools like Microsoft Visio and Lucid chart.
  • Proficiency in coordinating an application engineering team in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business vision and strategy into architectural strategy recommendations.
  • Participate in high-level architecture design teams.
  • Consult on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives.
  • Oversee the technical implementation of architectural components.
  • Initiate and drive project discussions to resolve issues.
  • Provide leadership and technical supervision to multiple teams.
  • Advise senior management on technical strategy.
  • Research and recommend new technologies for the organization.
