Job description

This position involves analyzing, designing, and developing cloud-ready Spring applications that adhere to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). The role focuses on creating REST APIs using Spring Boot and Java, while also integrating databases with Oracle. The candidate will work within a DevOps environment, utilizing CI/CD methodologies to build automation pipelines. This position requires collaboration on multiple projects that support various corporate initiatives in a financial services context.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and User Interfaces for large-scale applications in a financial services environment, or one year with a Master's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
  • Develop unit and integration tests to validate business requirement implementation.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
  • Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
