Job description

This position involves developing and maintaining test automation solutions and internal utilities within the quality engineering organization. The role requires collaboration within Agile/Scrum teams and focuses on building automation pipelines using DevOps concepts. The candidate will work with various databases and cloud platforms while ensuring comprehensive testing and documentation. The main goal is to provide business solutions through the development of complex software applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer, or one year with a Master's degree, focusing on automated testing frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing automated testing frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, and Maven.
  • Experience in developing complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Xray for defect tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute within Agile Sprint squads.
  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
  • Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
  • Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
