Job description
This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications and development tools primarily using C#, .NET/.NET Core, Angular, and Azure technologies. The role focuses on implementing RESTful APIs and employing CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows. The engineer will work on cloud-native applications within Microsoft Azure, ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive testing and documentation. The ideal candidate will contribute to complex, enterprise-grade software systems in a Brokerage Services environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master’s degree in the same fields.
- Three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer, or one year with a Master’s degree, developing distributed applications on Cloud platforms using .NET, Angular, SQL, and Azure AKS.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and automating testing of backend business RESTful APIs optimized for Cloud deployment.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in writing SQL, schema design, and data modeling in SQL Server/Azure SQL MI.
Responsibilities
- Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
- Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
- Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
- Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
- Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
- Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
