Job description

The role involves developing and maintaining web-based applications using Java, Angular, and AWS, while collaborating with colleagues on technical implementations and process improvements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, or a Master's degree and three years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing Java RESTful services and multithreaded applications using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, testable, and maintainable code using GitHub and Selenium.
  • Experience with building scalable web applications using Angular and hosting on AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams.
  • Define and implement application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects for the division.
  • Recommend development testing tools and validate test plans.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for applications or subsystems.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies.
  • Plan and coordinate complex project schedules and assignments.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project issues.
  • Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluations.
  • Advise senior management on technical strategy.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Perform independent technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
  • Develop original technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
