Job description

The Principal Full Stack Engineer will lead a Scrum team within Fidelity's Digital Platforms Technology, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences through web applications. This role involves mentoring other developers and collaborating within an agile team to architect, build, test, and design innovative features. The team is dedicated to continuous improvement and utilizes modern technologies to create powerful tools for customers. The position requires a strong understanding of both server-side and client-side technologies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital experience engineering
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in communicating technical designs to non-technical team members
  • Proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks such as Java SE and Spring Boot
  • Client-side proficiency in Angular 8, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodology
  • Knowledge of modern application architecture patterns and emerging technologies
