The Engineering Manager on the ASE Commerce - Subscriptions team will lead the evolution of Apple's subscription ecosystem, focusing on delivering best-in-class commerce experiences. This role involves building and guiding a team that develops services and application components for Apple's subscription platform. The manager will tackle challenges related to high-volume transactions and ensure reliability and security across systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to support hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

• Strong object-oriented design skills with experience building maintainable, extensible systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable, secure RESTful web services.
• Hands-on engineering skills with the ability to write clean, well-documented, production-ready code.
• Experience building reusable components, frameworks, or libraries that provide leverage across teams.
• Experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Strong testing practices including unit and integration testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical fields.
