This senior lead developer role is part of a global application development team focused on Real Time Pricing and Risk applications for the Rates trading business. The position emphasizes the design and implementation of critical new features, along with architectural and performance enhancements. Candidates should possess strong programming skills in Java and an understanding of streaming frameworks, as well as familiarity with the Rates trading business and quantitative pricing and risk calculations. The role requires collaboration with various teams across multiple locations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Application Development
- Familiarity with KDB is strongly preferred
- Experience with system analysis and programming of software applications, particularly regarding performance and testability
- Familiarity with interest rates products and associated pricing and risk calculations
- Demonstrated leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to understand functional and operational requirements
- Lead designs and implementation of robust and testable code in support of the requirements
- Develop non-functional features in the system to improve reliability, scalability, and performance
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test suites
- Participate in code reviews to help other team members improve their code
