Job description

The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team is looking for an experienced Security Engineering Program Manager to manage and scale the Foundational Security team. This role involves working with various engineering teams across Apple to drive programs that enhance the security of Apple's server infrastructure. The position requires both technical and functional expertise in infrastructure and foundational security at scale. The ideal candidate will foster collaboration and influence stakeholders to achieve security program objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Manager or Technical Program Manager.
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects or programs in the field of security.
  • BS in Computer Science or other technical field or related industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in infrastructure security, access management, or a related foundational security domain.
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects, including defining scopes, setting timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to drive programs that secure Apple's server infrastructure end-to-end.
  • Manage the delivery of security authorization and access control initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements and work with service owners to develop innovative solutions to complex infrastructure security challenges.
  • Engage a broad set of internal and external stakeholders to identify, plan, and deliver program security outcomes.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
