Apple is seeking a senior Data Engineer to join the Next-Gen Workflow team within the Finance Process, Analytics, Reporting & Technology Data Operations group. This role focuses on designing and building data applications and AI-powered experiences that enhance the work of Finance analysts. The ideal candidate will operate independently, define AI-native finance tooling, and deliver high-quality applications. The position requires a blend of data engineering, software development, applied AI, and business analysis skills.

• 3+ years in data engineering or software development with a strong track record of shipping production data applications end-to-end.
• Expert proficiency in Python and hands-on experience building and deploying web applications with Streamlit.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT design.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Design, build, and deploy lightweight web interfaces and data tools to streamline financial analysis and reporting.
• Lead the team's adoption of AI in engineering practices and products delivered to analysts.
• Translate complex financial processes into a technical roadmap.
• Deliver user-friendly applications with minimal oversight.
• Mentor engineers and lead projects in a senior individual contributor capacity.
