This role is for exceptional software engineers to develop tools for advertisers using Amazon's advertising services. The Campaign Management team focuses on creating scalable and intuitive solutions that enhance advertising efforts across various products. Engineers will work on high-velocity distributed systems that handle millions of API requests daily. The position emphasizes building reliable systems that operate globally and continuously.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design, build, and own scalable distributed systems end-to-end
• Drive technical direction for the team by leading design discussions and making architecture decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor and elevate junior engineers through code reviews and design guidance
• Maintain operational health of production systems, including monitoring and root cause analysis
