• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Provide technical leadership for the team's GenAI initiatives and drive the long-term vision.
• Design and deliver GenAI capabilities to enhance the shopping experience.
• Build systems that ensure GenAI output is accurate, on-brand, and safe.
• Own mission-critical, scalable systems that serve GenAI features to millions of shoppers.
• Partner with applied scientists to integrate ML/GenAI models into shopper experiences.
• Establish evaluation and quality-measurement frameworks for GenAI experiences.
• Drive engineering excellence through design reviews and coding standards.
