The role involves working as a software engineer within the Campaign Management team at Amazon Advertising. This team is responsible for developing tools that help advertisers manage their advertising efforts across various products. The focus is on building highly available, scalable systems that can handle massive data and API requests. Engineers will work with cutting-edge AWS technologies to solve complex problems related to distributed systems and big data.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Build large scale, high velocity distributed systems to service millions of API requests per day
- Stream data at PB scale while processing business logic on tight latency budgets
- Implement world class CI/CD pipelines for service deployment and infrastructure provisioning
- Address big data problems including propagation delay and search optimization
- Collaborate with team members to enhance system reliability and scalability
