This position involves developing REST services and working with enterprise messaging systems like ActiveMQ and Kafka. The role focuses on building and deploying applications using cloud services platforms such as Azure, along with CI/CD tools. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and three years of experience in the same role.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing, designing, coding, debugging, and releasing scalable JEE/J2EE applications.
- Experience in building highly scalable Spring Boot Microservices with RESTful architecture.
- Proficiency in developing Azure cloud components and performing database design using relational and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams.
- Define and implement application-level architecture.
- Develop applications on complex projects for the division.
- Recommend development testing tools and validate test plans.
- Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications.
- Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects.
- Advise on risk assessment and management strategies.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments.
- Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project issues.
- Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluations.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
- Develop original and creative technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
