This position involves assisting in the establishment of standards for Cloud engineering and delivering next-generation solutions using CI/CD, AWS, and Kubernetes. The role focuses on designing, developing, and modifying software systems while analyzing project development policies and strategies. The candidate will work closely with business units to translate divisional initiatives into effective business solutions. Additionally, mentoring junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategies are key aspects of this role.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Cloud Engineer, or a Master's degree and three years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience designing, developing, and testing SOA and API security solutions using IBM API Connect Gateways, IBM DataPower, IBM Message Broker, APIGEE, Java, and Python.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing enterprise API lifecycle management systems using Golang and Python scripts.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications using Git, Jenkins, and Maven.

• Participate in Cloud architecture design teams.
• Define and implement application-level cloud architecture.
• Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review and validate test plans.
• Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
• Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Meet project goals on-time and on-budget.
• Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project and technology issues.
• Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
• Advise senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
