Job description

The Senior Software Technical Program Driver will lead the development of innovative compute software solutions for various sectors, including cloud service providers and automotive customers. This role involves close collaboration with multiple teams to streamline processes and enhance product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience in managing customer escalations. The position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate and drive software objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in a similar or related role with 5+ years of experience in driving down Software / Hardware customer escalations.
  • Hands-on experience with software development for hardware platforms.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex products to customers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated capacity for multitasking.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Software Development Managers, Engineers, and other personnel to implement streamlined processes.
  • Lead status meetings and address customer concerns while managing release schedules.
  • Collect requirements and drive planning and scheduling for all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, proactively identifying risks and formulating risk management strategies.
  • Enhance existing product development and software release processes in collaboration with engineering management.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks and keep customers informed about issue statuses.
