Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in facilities engineering and a strong foundation in mechanical systems.
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in facilities engineering and a strong foundation in mechanical systems.
- Experience with oil-free air systems, HVAC systems, chilled water plants, boilers, environmental abatement systems, or compliance exhaust systems.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing or mechanical engineering facility services support.
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and solving immediate issues with technical equipment.
- Experience with mechanical and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Support daily tactical efforts to meet safety, reliability, and environmental targets.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
- Develop engineering scopes of work for mechanical projects and conduct design reviews.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Partner with internal business units and operations teams to deliver tailored engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance service providers to ensure proper system operation.
- Develop and implement a mechanical systems roadmap and asset replacement strategy.
- Drive the successful commissioning of new mechanical systems and modifications to existing systems.
- Support strategic engineering projects and explore advanced automated solutions.
