Job description

This role focuses on driving technology development and enabling high volume manufacturing at Intel. The team is dedicated to process integration and equipment solutions, performing feasibility studies to meet device specifications. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires a strong understanding of semiconductor processing and aims to innovate within the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related STEM field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field with 4+ years of experience.
  • PhD degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing, wafer-level assembly, or cleanroom environments.
  • Technical expertise in module engineering or fab process/hardware technology development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technology development and enable high volume manufacturing.
  • Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Perform path-finding activities in support of process and hardware development.
  • Recommend and implement modifications for operating equipment to improve production efficiency.
  • Partner with key equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technology elements.
  • Perform process technology feasibility studies through theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods.
