As an Amazon Logistics Operations Engineer, you will lead cross-functional projects focused on developing and delivering innovative sortation and distribution solutions. You will collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution and implementation of facility network infrastructure. • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 1+ years of engineering experience
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
• Experience working with and managing third party vendors
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing

• Manage the lifecycle of challenging projects and deliver on project objectives and targets.
• Participate in engineering reviews and impact proposed solutions on systems architecture.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to set project priorities and drive schedules.
• Lead execution efforts in delivering systems and automated equipment designs.
• Communicate project status, risk analysis, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Articulate system and equipment designs to internal customers and partner teams.
• Manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice approvals.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiencies.
• Travel up to 80% domestically to support project execution.
