This position is for a software developer focused on building hyper-scale database services in the cloud, specifically within the Amazon Aurora MySQL team. The role involves designing and developing significant system software components that are critical to AWS's database services. Candidates will work in a hands-on environment, engaging in all stages of the software development cycle while mentoring other engineers. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
