Job description

This position is for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) in the Agentic WorkSpaces team at AWS, focusing on building innovative solutions for human-AI collaboration. The team aims to enhance enterprise workspaces by integrating AI capabilities, ensuring a seamless user experience. Candidates will work on high-availability services that support over one million users globally. The role emphasizes operational excellence, system optimization, and collaboration with various teams within AWS.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Dive deep into complex technical problems and drive incremental system optimizations.
  • Enhance the skills and expertise of team members.
  • Partner with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q teams, and peer organizations to leverage shared AWS agentic infrastructure.
  • Ensure the team's services meet stringent SLAs across multiple production regions and OS variants.
  • Perform autonomous troubleshooting and proactive issue resolution before customers are impacted.
