Job description

The Principal Architect for AI and Semiconductors at Google Cloud plays a crucial role in helping customers design and implement enterprise cloud strategies. This position combines technical expertise with business insight to drive customer engagement and deliver value. The role involves leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with various stakeholders, including technical leaders and executives. The Principal Architect will also be responsible for promoting Google Cloud solutions and optimizing their effectiveness for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic accounts and engage with Architects, VP Engineering, CTO and CIO.
  • Identify customer priorities, technical objections, and design strategies encompassing the entire Google ecosystem.
  • Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, promoting Google Cloud with customers.
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure.
  • Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists and technical teams.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
