The Technical Program Manager for Foundations Engineering at DoorDash will drive critical initiatives across various engineering domains, including Data Engineering and Core Infrastructure. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish vision, strategy, and technical direction for foundational engineering efforts. The successful candidate will need a strong technical understanding and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. This position is based in either the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Seattle.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of recent experience as a Technical Program Manager at a technology company, ideally in an infrastructure or platform engineering organization.
• Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, infrastructure systems, and developer tools.
• Experience with data engineering, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Partner with Directors in Foundations Engineering to define vision, strategy, technical direction, and success metrics for foundational programs.
• Own the end-to-end motion of getting product engineering teams onto new platform capabilities.
• Develop a full understanding of the technical stack and interdependencies.
• Manage expectations from engineering leadership down to individual teams.
• Drive Engineering OKR planning and provide visibility into resource allocation and prioritization.
