The Associate, Software Engineering role at Goldman Sachs involves developing and maintaining software solutions to support global business operations. • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Sustainability Management, or a relevant field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Sustainability Management, or a relevant field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Experience in designing and building high-performance front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and advanced React features.
• Familiarity with programming technologies including Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Spring, React, CSS/SCSS, HTML, and Ag-Grid.
• Experience with relational database management systems such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Knowledge of micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies.
• Experience with NoSQL technologies including MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Ability to conceptualize user requirements to create wireframes and deliver quality UX solutions.
• Experience performing both high- and low-level code reviews in enterprise-scale products.
