Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Water Wastewater Engineer/Design Manager to join their Resilience Water Team in Tampa, Florida. This role focuses on developing sustainable solutions to address water issues such as quality, scarcity, and management. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced water professionals and manage projects while enhancing their technical and professional skills. The position emphasizes strong communication and coordination to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Design Management experience.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tasks and projects for the planning, design, and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution and collection systems.
  • Develop design and construction documents, such as reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
  • Provide support in the construction administration of projects.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Serve as a Design Manager or Assistant Project/Design Manager on projects.
  • Develop scopes of work and budgets that align with client and organizational expectations.
  • Participate in pursuit capture planning for new project opportunities.
