NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Full-stack web applications software architect to join the Hardware Infrastructure team. This team is focused on building a next-generation event-driven data and visualization platform to support NVIDIA's GPU development efforts. The role involves modernizing front-end applications and developing reliable, scalable microservices and AI agents. The architect will collaborate with hardware engineering teams to deliver robust solutions that enhance real-time data processing and analytics.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Expertise in designing, building, and debugging distributed Java stack applications.
  • Deep understanding of Apache Kafka and experience with Kafka Streams or similar technologies.
  • Detailed knowledge of distributed systems principles, concurrency, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Deep understanding of scalable data caching solutions, specifically Redis.
  • Excellent planning, presentation, and communication skills.
  • BS degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MS degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize front-end applications to serve a diverse customer base.
  • Participate in the full life-cycle of tool development, including troubleshooting, testing, and deployment.
  • Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable microservices and AI agents.
  • Develop and optimize real-time data processing pipelines using technologies like Kafka Streams and Apache Flink.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineering and chip verification teams to understand requirements.
  • Establish best practices for streaming data architecture and platform observability.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
