Job description
The Business Analytics Lead Analyst at Citibank will focus on analyzing customer and transactional data to identify fraud trends and enhance fraud strategies. This role involves developing dashboards and visualizations to communicate fraud results effectively. The analyst will implement models into production and create strategies for detecting anomalous trends using advanced data science techniques. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to design effective fraud detection strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience utilizing analytical, statistical, and programming skills, including SAS and SQL.
- Experience analyzing customer, transactional, and behavioral data to develop machine learning models using Python.
- Experience performing complex data mining and analysis on Big Data to identify fraud trends.
- Experience driving collaboration across different teams such as Model Risk Management and Legal.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer and transactional data to identify emerging fraud trends.
- Develop or improve fraud strategies based on data analysis.
- Evaluate output of data analysis in statistical tools and build decision trees for fraud alerting rules.
- Develop tactical and strategic Management Information Systems (MIS) dashboards using tools like Tableau.
- Provide actionable insights by leveraging data analytics and reporting.
- Drive the end-to-end testing approach, including test case documentation and monitoring of rule performance.
- Increase sophistication of anomaly detection analytics and develop new detection models.
