Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a System Design Engineer to join the Graphics Product Team, focusing on the development of GPU and Tegra based products. The role involves collaboration with hardware and software engineers to balance product cost, performance, and schedule. The engineer will also lead testing and debugging efforts while creating schematics and supervising PCB layouts. Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in PCB design and review.
  • Familiarity with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of Linux and comfort working in various Linux environments as well as with Windows OS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build system hardware products around GPU and Tegra SoC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance product cost, performance, and schedule.
  • Drive initial testing and bringup, leading the debugging efforts.
  • Create schematics and supervise PCB layout and system validation.
  • Handle documentation required to release the product to manufacturers and partners.
  • Optimize and invent circuits and functions for better performance and lower cost.
  • Improve the design flow in collaboration with the infrastructure team.
