Job description

This role is part of a global technology team focused on building technical solutions for complex business problems in the OTC derivatives domain. The position requires participation in the entire software development lifecycle while collaborating closely with product teams and users. The ideal candidate enjoys solving engineering challenges and has a strong engineering background. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering.
  • Hands-on professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming in Java, JavaScript or React.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, and applications development.
  • Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
  • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations.
  • Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage.
  • Consult with users and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
