NVIDIA is seeking a hardware hacker and system prototyper for its Santa Clara, CA location. The role focuses on creating innovative prototypes and developing new architectures to guide integration for mass production. • 5+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role
• BS or MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Ability to create Python applications and hardware control software, ideally in C and C++ as well
• Basic prototyping skills in 3D modeling software and 3D printing tools
• Lab skills including oscilloscope usage, power measurements, SI testing, scripting, and soldering

• Create new and innovative prototypes that test future capabilities
• Develop new architectures and PCB designs
• Prototype mechanical housings and integrate software
• Conduct lab testing and characterization, including measurements and analytics
• Summarize results and learn new skills in a dynamic team environment
