Job description

The Senior Frontend Engineer role at Fidelity involves leading the development of modern, high-performance user interfaces for next-generation pricing platforms in the cloud. The engineer will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and product managers. Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
  • Deep expertise in modern Angular (v16+), including signals, standalone components, and zoneless architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience building responsive and accessible user interfaces that comply with WCAG standards.
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with RxJS and reactive programming principles.
  • Expertise in frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, ViTest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Working knowledge of backend technologies such as Java with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services.
