The Market Data Exchange Services Consultant will work within Fidelity's Fund and Investment Operations team, reporting to the Director of Exchange Services. This role focuses on managing relationships with exchanges, ensuring compliance with vendor policies, and providing insights to guide decision-making. The consultant will also be responsible for interpreting exchange policies and coordinating contract administration workflows. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of market data experience and/or financial services industry exposure
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work with data
- Ability to interpret policies, guidelines, and contractual language
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Identify exchange pricing and policy changes and provide actionable insights
- Interpret exchange policies and apply them to Fidelity’s internal processes
- Work directly with exchanges to evaluate market data usage and compliance
- Manage relationships with exchanges and develop strong partnerships
- Assist with monthly exchange reporting and usage monitoring
- Coordinate contract administration workflows with partner teams
- Consult with business partners on new and changing use cases
- Manage projects and drive initiatives to improve processes and outcomes
