Job description

The role focuses on developing and deploying machine learning solutions to analyze petabyte-scale identity data for AWS Identity Analytics. The team aims to create actionable insights that influence AWS Identity services and enhance customer security. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging advanced ML techniques and AWS resources. The position also involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with various teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML solutions for identity logs and metrics.
  • Build and operate LLM-powered agents for querying and exploring identity data.
  • Engineer features from petabyte-scale datasets using AWS services.
  • Partner with AWS Identity leadership and service teams to define success metrics and validate models.
  • Apply state-of-the-art techniques in ML and deep learning to Identity Analytics challenges.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's long-term technical direction.
