This position involves troubleshooting and resolving production software issues while working within a team that supports software applications aimed at improving the global workplace. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering background, particularly in Linux and networking, to address high-impact production challenges. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate with various groups, including Development, Operations, and IT Support. Candidates must also maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals are required.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby is necessary.
- A minimum of 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience is required.
- 1+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience is needed.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues.
- Develop monitoring solutions and perform software maintenance and configuration.
- Implement fixes for internally developed code in languages such as Perl, Ruby, C/C++, and JAVA.
- Update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
- Work alongside development teams on AWS projects and enhance current software.
