Job description

The Software Foundations and Management organization at Amazon Web Services is seeking talented engineers to join its Managed Applications Platform team. This team is responsible for developing systems that enable Amazon's developers to manage applications in the cloud efficiently. The role focuses on creating fully-automated deployment workflows and dynamic fleet scaling for large-scale services. Candidates should be passionate about improving application management and making a significant impact on Amazon's technology landscape.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software systems that support automated deployments and fleet management.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to enhance application management processes.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems and features.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of software applications.
