The Software Foundations and Management organization at Amazon Web Services is seeking talented engineers for its Managed Applications Platform team. This team is responsible for developing systems that enable automated deployments, OS upgrades, and dynamic fleet scaling for Amazon's extensive developer community. The role focuses on creating solutions that allow developers to manage applications in the cloud efficiently. Candidates will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's continuous deployment and fleet management systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems that support automated deployments and fleet management.
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance the continuous deployment workflow.
- Design and implement scalable solutions for managing applications in the cloud.
