The AI Security Engineering Intern will join a team focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance software and system security. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques to real-world security challenges. Interns will work closely with engineers to develop and evaluate AI/ML approaches for security applications. The role emphasizes learning, experimentation, and collaboration in a supportive environment.

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience with 3+ months of educational or work experience.
• 3+ months of educational or work experience with AI based tools specifically for code generation and security discovery.
• System level programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Rust, and security automation validation using Python.

• Assist in developing and evaluating AI/ML approaches for security applications such as code analysis and vulnerability detection.
• Support analysis of software systems to identify potential security risks or inefficiencies.
• Work with engineers to test and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Contribute to automation tools or scripts that support security analysis workflows.
• Conduct research and present findings on emerging AI and security topics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
