The Senior UX Engineer for YouTube Live at Google will work within a multi-disciplinary UX team to develop innovative products and prototypes that enhance user experiences. This role focuses on live streaming and video creation, bridging the gap between broadcast and conversation. The engineer will collaborate closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to create high-fidelity prototypes and ensure efficient execution of design concepts. The position requires a passion for real-time interaction and solving complex UX challenges at scale.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience in application development in at least one platform/area such as web, iOS, Android, CompDes, or XR.
• Experience in Rapid Prototyping.

• Develop and iterate on robust, high-fidelity prototypes and technical proofs-of-concept to validate design concepts.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, performant, and accessible front-end implementations that meet user needs.
• Anticipate potential technical or design challenges and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Drive consensus and build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners to align priorities.
• Contribute to and evolve shared design systems, component libraries, or tooling that enhance UX consistency.
