The Senior Electrical Engineering Project Discipline Lead for Gas Power Generation at Jacobs will play a crucial role in expanding the Energy & Power Solutions team. The role involves engaging with clients to assess their energy needs and developing comprehensive plans from concept to execution. Candidates will lead large teams of electrical engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience with EPC firms, utilities, or large-scale consultants.
- Proven ability to manage projects with complex scopes and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead large teams of electrical engineers in detailed engineering studies and design for utility scale power generation assets.
- Collaborate with Technical Leadership, Operations, and Client Account Managers on strategic pursuits.
- Engage with clients to develop relationships and deliver innovative energy solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff while managing project scopes and timelines.
