Job description

The Senior Consultant role in EY's Technology Consulting team focuses on the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in Land Administration and Division Order processes. The position aims to modernize client capabilities by leveraging technology and data to enhance ownership accuracy and compliance. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and support for upstream Oil & Gas clients. This role combines functional expertise with technology-enabled solutions to drive improvements in business processes.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus on Land Administration and/or Division Order.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with ownership setup and maintenance, ownership changes, suspense resolution, and title/curative workflows.
  • Exposure to technology-enabled initiatives such as system implementation, optimization, data conversion, testing, or stabilization.
  • Experience with Quorum Land System (QLS) and/or SAP in upstream environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support discovery and requirements gathering across Land and Division Order processes.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to future-state process design to improve ownership reliability and audit readiness.
  • Partner with technical teams to support configuration and validation of Land and Division Order platforms.
  • Assist with data conversion and quality activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
