The role of Manager in Consulting at EY focuses on assisting clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector to deliver business transformations. The position involves connecting strategy and execution to establish governance models and drive digital innovation. The Manager will work closely with senior leadership teams and mentor junior consultants while managing diverse teams. This position is integral to helping clients implement change and create capabilities within their organizations.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate Technology, Media and Telecommunications industry work experience.
- Must have 4 years of experience leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications business functions in transformation Program/PMO/EPMO/Portfolio design.
- Must have 3 years of external client-facing consulting experience in Business or technology consulting.
- Must have 3 years of professional services experience, with at least 1 year at a large, multinational consulting firm.
- Must have 3 years of experience utilizing modern project management methodologies, including Agile or Waterfall.
- Must have 2 years of experience with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera.
- Must have 1 year of experience in engagement financial planning and/or engagement financial management.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in delivering business transformations by connecting strategy and execution across the TMT industry.
- Help clients design and establish governance models including Transformation Management Offices and Program Management Offices.
- Work with senior leadership teams to structure and implement change within TMT clients.
- Identify and implement opportunities to drive digital innovation within the TMT sector.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Provide counseling and mentorship to junior consultants within the organization.
